  1. Hey Rachelle!

Your portfolio is looking great! The only thing that was wrong that I found was the link to the second story doesn't work. When I clicked on the link it took me to a page that said this page doesn't exist in this blog. So you may want to look and see what is wrong with the link. Other then that everything looks great.

On the first story I loved how well you illustrated the time and work that Brahma took in making Ahalya. You described the process excellently! Also I really liked that you made Ahalya seem curious about the potential of having another partner. That how she comes off because she seems to realize that Indra isn't her husband, but she goes along with it knowing that it probably isn't him.

On the third story, I really enjoyed the way you made Sita act. When I read this part in Ramayana I thought that she would be fighting tooth and nail to get away from Ravana, and that she would make him look like a fool in front of everyone if she had the opportunity too. Also I like that you made the Queen the complete opposite of Ravana. Great job so far! I look forward to reading the other stories!!

  2. Hey Rachelle! I really like your portfolio and your stories are pretty interesting to read. I think out of all your stories I really enjoyed the last one about Sita and how he she was kidnapped by Ravana. There was a lot of details about her actions and I thought that was unique how you added so many descriptions of her actions. It was also pretty cool how you made Mandodari's approach to Sita. I was a little confused because in the story I wasn't sure if she felt this sympathy towards Sita by telling her Hanuman's arrival or she is calling Sita ungrateful and only listen to Ravana's side of the story. I was a little confused over that part. Perhaps you could add some more details about Mandodari and how she really felt about her husband abducting another woman. Overall, I liked how you add Mandodari into the story because it seem as though she wasn't in the story a lot. It would be interesting if you add more details about her and the tension between her and Sita as being the wife of Ravana. Your author's note actually explained a lot to me and I thought it was pretty useful since I was a bit confused at first but after reading the note I can see where the story was going. Anyways, good job on your portfolio! Kepp up the good work!
